Also continues to solidify Accents dominance in the lifestyle space targeting the youth consumer. Glue are predominantly an apparel player which Accent don’t really play in with their existing doors. Accents biggest competitors would be JD Sport, Foot Locker and General Pants who all sell apparel and at the moment accent cant compete... Accent has a huge customer base but at the moment they only sell them foot wear. Also the obvious reasons of even more bargaining power with brands/landlords and expansion of their existing brands into the Glue business. Strong move!
