It is amazing that for a guy who doesn't seem to be optimistic on future gold price should remain invested in gold. If you have been so pessimistic of DCN then why are you invested in DCN in the first place? You make the decision, you take the ownership of your decision and don't try to deflect onto others or be a smartass of other's opinion.
Time to move on. No point in dwelling on and on about a negative investment. If you are not prepared to take a hit every now and then perhaps you should be out of investing. Even a great investor like Peter Lynch will get 4 wrong out of 10 investments.
