Manzano is like Argentinian mafia boss- well connected politically but not well liked amount the locals. He is firstly a businessman ready to make money/ but also to wield influence. He has already made heaps particularly around oil/infrastructure investments in Argentina.
Doubt he will bring any expertise/ input to GMN- he will have one of his henchmen on the board to monitor things.
But also don’t think he will sell out- he has supported LRS when no one else did, converted options early and is still a major holder with presence of the board (Pablo). A few million is nothing for him- particularly if GMN is successful and his motivation is further deals/ influence down the track

The issue with no progress in Catarmarca is the local stand against lithium mining. Numerous protests/community outrage when LRS first drilled and ongoing pressure supported by local politicians as seen in the recent ban on further exploration there
