    Hi @Minion32, @VatreniHR and @Frogkey,

    The strength of GMN's portfolio just keeps jumping from level to level. Yesterday's Araxá announcement is as profound as the "Down Under" announcement 3 months ago.

    But the nearology claimed in yesterday's announcement was unconvincing to many. Fifteen kilometres is not near when all of Brazil's Niobium deposits are located within the well-defined margins of Calderas. ( Tapira mine face )

    The SIGMINE record of mineral claims notes the nature of the mineral associated with the Claim ("SUBS"). The SUBS are sometimes not specified, or are obscure.

    However, there are two SUBS that are common near these Araxá Calderas. They are Niobium and Phosphate.

    In the map above the SUBS of each Claim is indicated ( Niobium is orange, Phosphate is yellow ). These Claims cover almost all of the high Thorium (eTh) areas (white to pink in the map base layer).

    The map area includes two pairs of caldera (top and bottom). At map center there are no calderas or Thorium highs. There are no gravity highs or lows within Niobium or Phosphate claims, or the calderas.

    It is clear that GMN is not alone lodging Niobium claims in the map area.

    EQN is present ( URL ) , as are others.

    WA1's Niobium finds are near a large Phosphate deposit (Lake Mackay) but were also indicated by the coincidence of gravity and magnetic highs.

    Has the WA1 experience informed this recent flood of claims in Araxá outside of the calderas ?

    Or is there some other factor at play ?

    For whatever it is, there are many players.

    GLTAH

    PS :

    ====================

    Not Niobium ?

    The claim GMN 830402/2024 has not appeared in SIGMINE as of yesterday. If this is the Claim at the top of map (-18.828,-46.815) then IMO its potential as an REE IAC deposit is high ( Red clay/White clay interface 2km NE ) ( Red clay in embankment 1 km SW )

    Claims around GMN 830343/2024 (-19.5880,-46.6470) have an interesting Magnetic signature associated with NiS deposits ( Mag Anomaly, high/low interdigitation) ( post ).
