The problems with Davey are multi factored. The underground is missing the electrical, ventilation and capital development to keep a mill even a quarter of the size of the current one going. Also the crusher is incapable of crushing pure underground ore. it needs to be blended with open cut sourced material. the mill itself is the biggest liability. the recovery is crap and judging by some of the incident reports coming from there they are really scraping the bottom of the talent pool with mill ops. All the tech services staff I have seen are barley out of puberty and seem to be there for work experience and it shows in the quality of the direction from management. with the sort of grades they have every aspect of the show needs to be watertight and it very obviously isn't.
