In North-West Queensland’s wild west,1866 to be exact. A young adventurer named Ernest Henry, with his restless spirit, roamed the vast lands on foot and horseback. He wasn't after gold, but adifferent kind of treasure - copper! Copper that could change the colony'sfortunes.

Henry wasn't your average colonialist. He had the keen eyes of a hawk and the meticulous mind of a scholar. Everytwist of the river, every glint in the rock, he documented in his journal. Oneday, near the Cloncurry River, inspiration struck! Inspired by his Crimean Wardays, he named a peak "Fort Constantine", due to its resemblance to aSebastopol fort in the Crimea. But a far greater discovery awaited.

While exploring further, Henrystumbled upon what looked like a mountain of iron. But this wasn't your averageiron, this was iron rich with copper! Elated, he hauled samples hundreds ofmiles for confirmation. The wait was agonizing, but the news was glorious - itwas copper alright!

Fuelled by this discovery, Henrybecame a whirlwind of action. He secured the land, raced to England to form acompany (unsuccessfully!), and then hightailed it back to Australia withCornish miners in tow. The "Great Australian Copper Mine" was born!

For over a decade, Henry and his crewbattled the harsh outback to develop the mine. It wasn't easy. The location wasremote and hauling the precious copper ore was a nightmare. But theypersevered, and in 1868, the first shipment of copper left the mine, a gleamingtestament to Henry's grit.

Even after selling the mine in 1879,Henry's thirst for discovery remained unquenched. In 1882, fate intervened. While prospecting near the Argylla copper mines, he befriended a Waggaboongatribesman. This man, impressed by Henry's copper knowledge, revealed thelocation of a hidden copper treasure - Mount Oxide!

Following the tribesman's crypticclues through treacherous terrain, Henry finally reached the promised land.Atop a hidden hill, a sight to behold - a magnificent outcrop of copper, gleaming green and blue!

Ernest Henry's legacy is etched incopper. He was a pioneer, a man who not only discovered the Cloncurry copperdistrict but also played a key role in its development. His meticulous notesand unwavering determination ensured these treasures wouldn't be lost.

Fast forward to today, and anotherchapter unfolds in this Cloncurry copper saga. Enter Renegade Exploration, armednot with pickaxes but with ground-penetrating geophysics tools andsupercomputers.

Their target? The Mongoose Deeps, ahidden world beneath the very same Great Australian Copper Mine discovered byErnest Henry over 157 years ago. Just like Henry ventured into unchartedterritory, Renegade Exploration is delving deep into its 100% owned tenement, using science to find what lies hidden.

While Ernest Henry relied on his keeneyes to detect coppery outcrops, Renegade Exploration uses high-tech gadgets tomap the underground magnetic & gravity mountain range, like a modern-daytreasure map come to life. And just like Henry followed the Waggaboonga's tribesman’sclues, Renegade is using remote supercomputers to decode and analyse thewhispers of the earth.

The Mongoose Deeps anomaly, amagnetic echo that stretches for at least 3 kilometres depth, like the GreatRainbow Serpent, a powerful spirit in our “investor” Dreaming. Its three-dimensionalshape is like a mighty river flowing upwards, twisting and turning as it risesfrom the depths. It's strikingly reminiscent of the Ernest Henry mine, a richdeposit of copper-gold, with a similar strength and form. But Mongoose Deepswhispers a secret too – a colossal overlapping magnetic & gravity anomaly furtherstrengthening the connection to this world-class mine.

This anomaly is a song the land issinging, a potential bounty waiting to be unravelled. It's a story waiting tobe written in the language of the drill bit, a tale that could hold immenseriches. The exploration team’s excitement is palpable, like a fire waiting toerupt. The drilling program is the key, the first step in deciphering thisancient song and what treasures it might hold.

While Ernest Henry's name deservesthe spotlight for his initial copper discoveries, unearthing these richeswasn't a one-man show. He likely relied on local guides and Aboriginalknowledge to navigate the vast Cloncurry landscape. Success in the harshoutback demanded teamwork, with Ernest Henry's leadership and vision complementingthe skills and knowledge of others. As too is the case with RenegadeExploration. It is the convergence of multiple skill sets ranging fromgeophysicists, exploration geologists, investors, mining partnerships, drillers, government department grants & permits.

One thing remains the same - thespirit of exploration. Just like Ernest Henry wouldn't give up on his copperdream, Renegade Exploration is determined to unearth the secrets of MongooseDeeps, one diamond drill hole at a time, using the proven Ernest Henry mine’sIron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOGC) style ore deposit as a geological vectoring guidefrom the tip of the Mongoose Deeps crackled Breccia corridor into itshigh-grade chalcopyrite core.

Will an Ernest Henry “Twin” berevealed? It’s a tightrope walk between cautious optimism, unbridled excitement, and sleepless nights. Being on the brink of a discovery is both thrilling and adaunting responsibility for any explorer. The potential enormity, riffle effectbeyond the company all needs to be properly balanced with accurate assayresults & further drilling. One thing is for sure, an internal cautiousbuzz of excitement exists prior to a planned market announcement on futuredrilling at Mongoose Deeps.

The spirit of exploration burnsbright across time. Ernest Henry, with his compass and keen eye, and RenegadeExploration, armed with supercomputers and drills, are both chasing thewhispers of the earth. Mongoose Deeps lies silent, waiting to reveal itssecrets. Will it be another Cloncurry marvel, a testament to human curiosityand the boundless riches hidden beneath our feet? Only the drill bit will tell.
