Perhaps people are chasing the gold sector generally today. This is only the second hole for Alba, maybe people were expecting another big high grade hit. The fact they have discovered a porphyry system with good gold-copper grades is probably lost on some short term traders. Also the news that deep hole will take another 6 weeks odd at El Palmar? So much news to come though, some ups and downs are to be expected.
The whole Bramaderos project just got a lot more interesting. We could see some great porphyry intersections from Alba over the coming months. 0.70g/t Au Eq over several hundred meters is pretty good and it’s likely there will be higher grade zones.
Add Alba to Brama and maybe another discovery or two and Bramaderos could be a bankable development proposition.
