* Never once mentioned the benefits of the higher-than-average grades soon to be mined at Roswell.
* "We are mining at 2.4gt, we make money but need to be efficient to do that" (why couldn't this have been framed differently eg Alkane prides itself in being a lower cost producer).
* "To give you an idea, at the 20 million scale you probably 250,000 oz 300,000 oz per annum gold equivalent type project, on the lower grade scale of things" (IMHO that would be considered an uneconomic to build project in this current environment when considering the CAPEX required to build a 20 mtpa mill and infrastructure).

James spoke well enough and presented in a confident manner.
The slide deck was amateurish in formatting and lacked any real marketing polish.

I asked myself, if I was a new investor seeing ALK presenting for the first time in Zurich, would that presentation have inclined me to dig a little deeper into the company. My answer is NO.
Too many questions continue to remain unanswered, too many details left unsaid. McPhillamy's cost blowout gives me real concern over future CAPEX blowout surprises for TGO plant expansion, Newell Hwy diversion and Boda/Kaiser scoping studies.

I've learned to trust my gut instinct (its saved me on more than a few occasions) and accept the fact that sometimes my decisions will be wrong (sold out of OBM at 9c based on gut instinct, now 34c).
Once again, hope I'm wrong and you'll make a killing in ALK.

Thx, I largely agree.
James would not normally have made the presentation which is why he told them Nic was off IMO.
It is obvious he is not from marketing or sales.
His value to me, is precisely because of his lack of polish and spin. We heard the probably underprepared words of a CFO. This gives us a better look inside his head, his words.

Are you placing the money into other gold copper coys?
