US retail sales printed very high and that means no rate cuts in the US. USD jumped and 10Y also jumped. This when normally gold falls but this time around did not and went up.
Also AUD fell which caused additional boost in price of gold in AUD. Also good for ALK.

One way for ALK to start new page is to list the costings for TGOE and accept the budget blowout and hire new MD. That is how all good companies act when things go wrong.
Anything short of this is the BoDs fault as they are basically negligent and only care about milking wages.
