They need to start with getting the lithology right - the PacMan cores they showed us tell me a lot.
In both pics they have identified what are clearly flow banded autobrecciated igneous rocks as meta pelites and horse shit with dogs balls sediments, respectively.





eg.
626-627.5 - autobrecciated andesite...The black stuff above the andesite looks like sediment on top of the andesite - which would imply sub aqueous extrusion of the lava - hence the auto brecciation/quench brecciation. Above the sediment is a dacite or rhyolite. You can see some of the rhyolite has spalled into the black sediment.

623.4-623.5 we have a qtz xenolith with some mineralisation contained in some igneous sluff. Is it a flow top/bottom? intrusive margin? If the qtz xenolith is associated with the rhyloite, then thats your mineralisation target.

Pretty pissed off, having pumped money into this. Lift your game guys. Find someone who knows volcano-sedimentary terranes.

Agree with someone else here...they could just be 250 m away from the motherlode. But its going to cost an arm and a leg to find it. And they need someone who knows what they're looking at.
