Can't help but be impressed with what they are finding at Butchers:

They are following the appropriate geological drill angles for the interpreted geology to test both steep and shallow west dipping mineralisation....and indeed this is what they found, long thick intercepts of gold mineralisation in the hinge and down the limbs of the anticline.

What was significant is that they replicated similar results of the hinge/limb structure under the pit(figure immediately below) where there is broad thick zones of economic gold mineralisation of little internal dilution, 50 metres out from the pit!(figure 2)

What is even more exciting re: size/extensions is this pattern of mineralisation appears to be repeated further out again-the hole 250 metres south of the pit that was drilled at more of a horizontal angle across the hinge into the western limb and showed a long intercept of gold mineralisation (see figure 4 below) and thus 'confirmed a thick robust zone of gold mineralisation hosted by the trachyte within the anticlinal fold enclosure.' Further, there is strong alteration in the limbs of the folded trachyte: assays pending(BCRD477)

Regarding the veining system diamond drilling(DD) has been accurate in delineating the quartz veining hosting gold within the hinge unit in the trachyte. Also sulphidic signatures are showing to be indicative of delineating where the gold is as in disseminated pyrite and pyrrhotite and why IP geophysical studies will be undertaken to further map out likely gold mineralisation where these sulphides occur.

To paraphrase Managing Director, Dr. Andrew Tunks...'no geophysics has ever been done here and it is clear that the presence of gold is clearly related to sulphides. Quartz veins are full of pyrite and pyrrhotite and will respond beautifully to IP analysis.' (note below)

    I quote:

'an association between the visible gold and late stage quartz veins with pyrite and pyrrhotite has been noted. Similar late‐stage quartz veins are typically spatially related to extremely high grades results. Visible gold grains up to a maximum of 3mm in diameter have been observed in narrow veins of quartz carbonate and chlorite up to 20mm thick. These veins are commonly seen in mineralised zones and have accessory pyrite, pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite up to 20%.' -PRESS HERESohh...what is good is that that MEI have shown they can detect where to drill for gold from DD veining and sulphide signatures, something that many gold explorers can only dream of!

-and plenty more to look forward to with a possible western extension discovered, strong alteration in upcoming holes, and 3 visible gold holes indicating bonanza grade zones to come, not to mention that one of these visible gold holes was 360 metres from the pit increasing the strike length to 700 metres!

And what is great about the Butcher's Creek deposit is that it has long mining licences, a thick robust economic orebody beneath the pit with cut back done ready to be mined within 2 years, again something other explorers can only dream of!

Final words to Dr. Andrew Tunks, Managing Director of MEI who recently stated in a webinar:

    -MEI is highly undervalued

-do not forget the Brazil project with updated JORC coming for our high grade gold resource and now doing a deep IP geophysical to unlock a potentially huge gold/copper porphyry system, and remember the price of gold in Brazilian currency(reias) has doubled since a positive scoping study was done by previous owners in 2016.

-MEI over the last year has had one of the most consistent stellar gold intercepts results of all companies on the ASX.

*From EGM: As well as legendary gold investor Tolga Kumova(Bellevue Gold-PRESS HERE) being the number one investor in MEI a highly respected Western Australian gold investor and his mates have heavily invested in MEI believing it is one of the best gold opportunities around

    P.S.

Results from Butchers Creek are imminent, and I suspect FOMO kicked in yesterday and will today as assay results are likely next week.

    Exciting times for MEI holders!
