We have more than enough feed for the HL for the next few years, I doubt he would target HL feed. IMO the shallow drilling is looking for targets for where he possibly drill deeper later.
Next he may turn his attention to the North/East and carry out a similar shallow program there, Im no Geo, just speculation.
I trust APs judgment, knowledge and experience to guide/manage the drilling program.
