So this is news from the "problem child" of AMI's bunch of operations. I have heard that they have made significant progress working through the sizeable "backlog" of drill core that was drilled in the past, but hadn't been looked at (possibly drilled by the previous operator at Dargues?) and if it hadn't been looked at, then it probably hadn't been sampled yet, so there might be more good news on the way, possibly, lab turnaround times permitting.
The fact that they had a backlog of exploration and stope delineation drill core, probably explains why the previous operators of Dargues might have had some production and reconciliation issues? Might also explain the decision by AMI to purchase if their due diligence turned up a paddock full of drill core that wasn't logged and sampled yet? Wouldn't be the first company to have the money to drill diamond core holes but not have the money to log and sample the drill holes.....
