Can you explain the 'trick' being played here? I can imagine it is in the best interests of the firm to have committed holders, and not traders, so shaking off the short-term traders with a bad result can make sense. I can also see them (as I think I mentioned above) throwing away this poor resulted hidden in the announcement so their next one can be clean and focused purely on the spodumene samples. Is this what you are implying?
