In the end, if share prices remain low for a time, can anyone looking for a cheap company can just walk in with a low offer? If that were the case, at what premium to current price - 20 to 50 percent - 14c to 17c. I for one wouldn't be jumping for joy.
Get to that gold, make some good profit and fend off lookers - or if not, at least make them pay.
