The USA is running about 9% Inflation and interest rates about 4%, so they still have -5% real interest rates. If the Fed raised rates to 9% so a 0% real interest rate. The country would default on their debt. Next scenario is to "Massage" Inflation with small interest rate hikes that will never catch Inflation and this will crash the dollar ( this scenario is the lesser of the 2 evils) WINNER GOLD!!
