Something does not seem to add up.
$10,000.000.00/$1,450= 6,897,
7,056 *$1,450.00 = $10,231,200.00
$10,231,200.00 - $10,000,000.00 = $231,200.00
$231,200.00/$ 10,000,000.00 = 2.3%
or 159 230550 = 2.3%
Take 2% for the cost of money (probably much more) and Commonwealth bank gets only $30,000 from this risky operation.
Yes, I know that we are not considering the time value of money and using present day gold prices, etc., but this exercise is just an exercise to give a rough idea.
