The TA shows that SLR is going to increase, at least for the short term.

-> Stock starting to trend upwards.
-> High volumes traded on 19th and 22nd of dec. It may possibly have been shorts exiting and accumulators arriving.
-> RSI on the weekly chart indicates that the share was recently oversold with a current RSI of 30. The gains of the past few days might be a turning point.
-> A fair few CX (centre point) trades which means smart money is playing with this. It appears they are accumulating.

I think the smart money anticipated this 'Gold prepayment' announcement and like it. I read this announcement and found the repayment to CBA with gold unique.
