Actually I recall now, writing eons ago, that the Italian holes look like they cross-cutted dip while the Burey holes were vertical to representatively target the large intrusive alteration, and that could explain the discrepancy.

Do you reckon it was worth all that time and money to prove that is, in fact, probably the case?
