Think this may be only the start here putting DEG in play. Not sure if this will stick. The offer really only recognises the equity market values of the listed investments. I think the majors that have been watching DEG could well make competing bids for DGO to get what's essentially a blocking bid (for DEG) from other interested suitors without having to pay a premium for it. DGO isn't expensive at the bid price. If GOR snare it for this, it'll be a fantastic strategic move for them I think.
