They're on to it, but I think the "buy Goldfields" line was over played, and missed.
Any one who buys out Gold Road inherits the rights to first dibs if Goldfield decided they wanted to sell their half of the project. Exploration over ten years has not duplicated the initial find,($100M) much. Maybe finding Gruyere was just dumb luck. This is just a piece of Goldfields' pie, but its 100% of Gruyere to the right buyer, on top of the rest.
Its all about chances, right place, right time. Who will move first?
And at what premium would our board roll over? Ah well, just pondering.
