Wow GOR has completed the acquisition. Maybe in a boom market GOR would never have completed the transaction.
Since making the bid the GOR share price has dropped around 27% mostly due to the HFT computers that have taken advantage of the perceived risk to GOR of such a transaction. GOR like most other goldies is an easy target for these manipulators because of lack of intervention by ASX and ASIC regulators. After all the computers are on ASX premises and they pay a yearly fee rather than a transaction fee.
Just a few stats from Friday's trades (24-6):
    - 4,176 trades for 4.519 million shares.
    - Trades greater than 10,000 shares were for 1% of total trades.
    - Trades greater than 5,000 shares were for 3.4% of total trades.
    - Trades for less than 1,000 shares were for 77% of total trades.
    - Trades for less than 100 shares were for 26% of total trades.
The 1,100 trades for less than 100 shares are transactions that a retail investor would not do as they are uneconomic.
This proves the HFT computers are manipulating and making money out of the short sell.

Before the takeover of DGO I saw GOR going to $2 within some months. With the takeover of DGO we may have to wait some time before it breaks through the $2 mark but in a few years I see GOR being a $3 share. That is if someone does not buy it out cheap in the interim.
