The more I think about the possibility of there being several styles of gold min'n, the more I think that one day Contessa/brumby may be a very large gold field.

That probably sounds ambitious given the findings so far, but when you think about it just one style of min'n normally suffices - provided of course that it's good enough to be mined. Imagine 2, 3 or 4 styles in the same area and the potential is there for:

    1. All to be fruitful - bonanza!

    2. Just 1 to be fruitful - bonza!

I realise it's a simplistic appraisal, but the odds of getting at least one across the line are better than just having one style of min'n.

It will need money thrown at it, and time spent too - not to mention excellent geological assessment and logic - but I just have the inkling that one day it will all be well worth it.

Whether or not having more than one style of min'n in the same minable zone will be a hindrance I do not know.

The area is exposed to various influences -

    # north/south faults on both sides.

    # Yilgarn Craton - archaean territory.

    # Cross faulting as per the jenkin fault.

    # Palaeoproterozoic effects and influences from the Bryah/Yerrida Basins and Rift.

It's a very interesting area! It's mainly unexplored too!
