I think it all depends on how dodgy they want to be RE inferring continuity. I wonder if the MRE is being done internally or by a 3rd party. I think a GMR geo may offer up >1.5M Oz but I find the models done by consultants usually far more conservative as they have no interest in the final Oz figures. Depends on your flavour as to what you prefer, neither are inherently wrong

No matter how the last of the res def holes come back like, its looking like a nice HG zone in the middle which should be easy mining.

Personally I see it as a long play as I'm far more interested in the exploartion holes 600m north and the potential for there to be numerous HG zones along this shear zone leading all the way up to Siguiri. This could be just the beginning of a major mining area with multiple pits for the 20km extent of Kada

I did a similar exercise years ago in the lead-up to the Kouri maiden resource. Here are some Excel spreadsheet techniques I found helpful:
If you put the Easting and Northing measurements into the first two columns and plot them as X and Y coordinates you can map the holes to their geospatial locations (and even overlay over an image of the map if you like).
If you calculate the indicated ounces (g/t X length of intercept X selected radius² X π X conversion to ounces) and put that number in the third and subsequent columns (based on total yield) you can colour the points by inferred yield around each hole.
By playing with the radius of the points on the plot you can build a colour-graded 2-D plot.

That will give you a lovely visualisation of the resource. If you like the results I'd be interested to see it here.

With respect to estimation you can come up with an indicated resource by adding up all the ounces and playing with the "selected radius" mentioned above. Of course the indicated resource is only going to come from maybe 10% of the exploration target so you maiden resource total is going to be determined almost entirely by your assumption of what lies beneath the undrilled area. Augur samples are a reasonable assumption.

But in the end, whatever your methodology, the announced maiden resource will just be whatever it is. So have fun estimating if you find it fun. Otherwise close your eyes, breathe deeply, and focus on your centre...

Honestly went really simple, I haven’t got the Ann’s in front of me so I’m just going to keep it basic.

from the graphs of the good set of results: I took the estimated width and length of the anomaly, and from another graph the average depth to determine the tonnage in that area, it was something along the line of 500m x 200m x 100average depth. Totalled something like 50mil metre cube of ground. Which is about 75mil tonne of ground (1.5ish tonne to metre cube) @average 1g/tonne converted to ounces.

really rough numbers until I can find decent software that will let me calculate the full cubic metres of area. And then I might be able to define sections with the results of the Ann’s but I don’t have time or the software to do it.

anyway I got my results from around 75mil tonne of dirt at 1g per tonne average. divide by 28 to get to ounces so 2.6million
