Jamie, over the next few days and weeks the market here and in the US will learn the fact of what has been rumour for months - one of the worlds biggest corporate negotiators and banks is acting on MAE's behalf .
Instos/hedge funds will look at the chart and see that there is NO takeover speculation built into the shareprice . I hypothesize that some nibblers will start to seriously punt on an outcome that is favourable . Some buyers won't wait to see the outcome but will hedge their money on a positive build up in the shareprice . I consider those buying now with a month or two up their sleeve will do well .
