It's a reasonable concern mini, but your timeframe of 3 years for commonplace self driving cars is highly optimistic. Would suggest even self driving cars need parking spaces, perhaps a great opportunity to patch together a system to directly talk with them to find the nearest/ most cost effective suitable parking space.
