in normal circumstances I'd agree but these times are far from normal. In a world where national debt has sky rocketed, inflation has followed and many are backing themselves with gold again perhaps their view of the strategic nature of assets changes, which is why they lowered the threshold in the first place.......its a bit fanciful but if you asked most of we'd be where we are in January they wouldn't have picked it so who knows.
I tend to agree this'll just delay things (mostly the offer period) as I believe they can still receive acceptances but just can't pay for them but still who'd accept into an offer they can't actually get their money out of, especially since so many things up in the air.
