He also stated they should forget the oxidised ore which CHN have been unsuccessful in achieving reasonable recoveries. Going underground is more expensive and is unlikely to stake up in the low grade areas - so they need to target the higher grade ore underground to make it economic - which means the mine will be a lot smaller but at least it may be profitable.
