The in ground value of the "low grade dirt" as at the updated resource was covered in posts a while back and I think the figure settled upon was $170 AUD per tonne - more obviously for "enhanced" ore.
So the real question is can the ore be extracted from the proposed pit, crushed presumably, railed to an appropriate port and shipped to China or similar for something less than $170AUD per tonne.
I have seen a few objections but none that hold water in my view.
All this talk about fantastic installations, exotic metallurgy etc - is it possible?
This is OZ and we have to keep it simple - I wish it was otherwise but facts have to be faced.
Finally, it is my gloomy view that the only thing the company will be permitted to do at Julimar is extract the ore and remove it from the site and eventually make good any damage.
WHY NO GEOLOGISTS? I have yet to see a post from a self confessed geologist.
