While I am not against the location - details are thin on the ground as to how they determined the valuation... what prior revenue metric was present for the business (almost irrelevant if they are shutting it to refurbish first) - but it would be a good indicator of what could at least a revenue be after... good choice to go Matso's too - as there is already a brewery there (Eumundi Brewery - they only do brewery tours on Wednesday or Saturday FYI)

Certainly history has proven that brew pubs are attractive investments on two fronts: Brand Awareness and Direct sales... both positive for cashflow when operating. By selecting QLD over VIC or NSW, we have also got a better chance of the venue (once refurbished) remaining open to generate income as Anna is determined to keep the QLD borders closed for as long as possible (honestly think it will take federal law intervention to pry it from her vice like fingers)
