I decided to google the place, came up with a lot of history and some data re the pub.
Now what was not said in the announcement was what improvements would be and an estimated cost.
Mentioned was the need to build a brewing facility, that's a couple of $mil and other upgrades to the building More $$$.
Noticed the thirsty Camel bottle shop which sells competitors products, that could be the new brewhouse and would the TAB, pokies and accomodation remain?
looking at hotel and selling agents webpages it would seem there is a lot of work to be done, the beer garden is inviting and could be enlarged.
It appears the property is freehold with unused areas of land to facilitate growth so we await further information, maybe at the AGM in a couple of months time.
Speaking of the AGM will it be at the Optus Stadium again or in a special area of the incomplete "A" shed as a sneak preview to the project, now that would be interesting!.
