No disputing what they have said in the past.... but they are taking the data from Mukuyu-1 and reprocessing all the data.
The graphics from today could mean the reprocessing of the data leads them to believe they have already penetrated the Lower Angwa. However, they have limited data as were unable to log the deepened section. Or as Kiwi has said, someone came back from a long boozy lunch?
