My read of this is that GMG did indeed meet expectation. However, the market has a habit of selling down on news and moving upwards in expectation of the news.
Look at the massive SP run up for the last year - the SP has increased as the market gained more confidence in the forecast and actual performance. A small drop (2% at the time of writing) is not a big deal and probably just indicates that many big investment houses are enjoying a few profits today.
My read of this is that GMG did indeed meet expectation....
