Hmm, it's this kind of stuff that makes me consider some GMPPA...
But, I can see them just stepping up GMPPA and paying 2.9% forever... which, for a BBB- rated firm... isn't particularly good. I mean, the value is in conversion into $100... but, realistically, there's no reason for GMG to convert. It could easily only get to $80 before I need to sell to buy a house..... which is only about 25% higher than current market value... which isn't particularly good, considering firms such as Gunns...
I haven't read the prospectus... but I'm going to assume GMG is the only one that can force conversion...
I'm still considering it... and, announcements like this help... but, I think I'm leaning towards no.
