Actually this is even more serious I think, they really should state what the loss on this contract asset is, to not do so is at the very least very poor form. Their latest accounts show $763m in net assets, depending on what the loss on this asset is (it appears at least $400m, but potentially more), it wipes out most of their equity. Obviously pre Thiess sale, but clearly makes the balance sheet even weaker. Again unless I've missed something in this announcement.
