I hold LLL and am prepared to say that if I had invested my initial investment into LTR rather than BGS, my current LLL investment would now be 30-40x what it is worth.
BGS/MLL/FFX turned into a high risk/low reward investment.
Incompetence in Perth destroyed much of the shareholder wealth. Now we have a very capable team at the mercy of a nationalistic government.
Personally I would never again take a long term position in Africa.
The perceived sovereign risk has increased over the last 5 years imo. I think the current situation regarding the duties/taxes is the standout concern in this announcement.
