My point being that a bit of uncertainty accompanied by traders getting in and out works to the advantage of a large player trying to accumulate shares over time by increasing the volatility. The large player can exacerbate the moves both up and down to accumulate more shares.

Notice how easily it has been to get out of a position over the last month. There are always a large number of bids just a few cents below the market if a holder wanted to sell a million+ shares in a hurry.
