Personally I don't want any progress atm. Seems to me the only progress possible is going to entail FFX throwing good money after bad and paying more money to Morilla SA for the "benefit" of selling it for zero dollars.

If Mali Gov want people to blame they can look in the mirror. Their coup, their sanctions, their stupid laws that let the previous owner walk away with billions in profit and no enviro bond, their laws let those owners dump tailings in the pit sabotaging the project going forward.
The Mali Gov has benefited hugely from taxes on Morilla over 20+ years. Likely hundreds of millions. We have done nothing but donate $200 million to try and keep it going for them, and lost the lot. Now they insist on more? 'GAGF' ought to be our firm reply from here to escrow period ends and we can divvie it up and promptly shut this cursed company down for good.

Only exception ought to be us paying an enviro bond in exchange for a 5% NSR ongoing for LoM.
