They would also be competing against their soon to be completed project at Charlestown, only 10km away. It is massive, and I could never understand that one.
They were trying to have the taxpayers pay hundreds of millions to upgrade the transport infrastructure. Worth a try
However, they proposed to tear up a perfectly good railway, that goes all the way to the beach, and have the taxpayer replace it with...what?..nothing really
I wouldnt be holding my breath if I had property in the CBD
