So, PAC invested 2.7 m USD or around 4 m AUD (at today's fx) in 2016 (when GQG was set up).
And it is valued 5 years later at 295 m AUD minimum, based on the price range indicated yesterday by the AFR (5.9 to 6.5 bn for GQG).
It confirms, what we saw also with PNI : the best time to invest in the asset managers is at the creation of these companies.
In both cases (GQG and PNI boutiques), the success of these asset managers is also explained by the previous track record of these asset managers (and of course their relationships with their main institutional customers).
