Hi Lost.
Last FY, PAC received approx $13M from its investment in GQG. It was a pre tax distribution of GQGs revenues ,of which tax was paid on the profits after PACs overheads. Going forward we will be receiving an after tax dividend with this year being a similar amount to last year for our 4% holding.
My question is do we pay tax again on this part of PACs profit or do we get exemption because tax already paid in USA. If the latter PACs tax bill might be quite a bit lower this year adding a possible extra 5cps.
Yours or anybody’s thoughts welcome.
