I don't think that will help as much as you think, the new shares will just get vacuumed up only difference will be that we would have more cash, in my experience it's good not to break an upward trend with a Cap raise. I have seen other stocks take many months to recover once knocked off a really good up trend.
Trend and momentum are your friends!
Volume will come when the price is right.
