A trade site (OEC(dot)world) suggests in April 2021, the UK imported £24.6 million of rapeseed (which we nowadays call 'canola'), being the third largest import from Oz after silver and raw lead, and ahead of wine.
Exports from Oz to the UK of the latter are well known (Jacob's Creek, anyone?) but few would realise how due to a combination of factors that AaronS76 has discussed, GNC and other exporters' grain is flowing to locations like the UK in large amounts. Great!
