'AFR' describes the 1H 23 result as 'solid' which to my mind is a far better description. (I like 'The Oz' a lot but its pessimism is wrong above):GrainCorp upgrades earnings guidance
Alex GluyasGrainCorp has upgraded its FY23 earnings guidance following a solid first-half result.The company now expects EBITDA in the range of $500 to $560 million (previously $470 to 530 million), and net profit of $220 to $260 million (previously $180 to $220 million).GrainCorp reported EBITDA of $383 million for the half-year ended March 31, down from $427 million in the same period last year.Net profit was $200 million in the first half, down from $246 million.The company declared a fully franked dividend of 24¢ a share, comprising an interim dividend of 14¢ a share and a special dividend of 10¢ a share
