    As you live at or near Condobolin, perhaps you could pop over to observe Pacific National locomotive 8174 (plus another) that is probably loading GNC-handled grain for train number 8831 to the Dick Hogan-owned Manildra complex at that eponymous town also along the main western NSW rail line.

    The Walgett line has train number 4531 with loco 8253 and one other stopped at Burren Junction, not Oz's largest town, so at a guess it's also loading for GNC at its handling facility.

    The 'exportable surplus' has become so large that from many east coast grain belt locations including 'marginal' ones, it's a year round activity. Great for hopefully the next 18 months.
