For me, it's too early to predict how the winter 2022 crops will go on the east coast of Australia but GNC is expert and would hopefully not exaggerate, so individuals like myself can be too pessimistic.

It was to reopen this month but regrettably that's been delayed, as it's quicker to send NSW Riverina grain bound for Port Kembla via this line rather than having grain trains travelling through the Sydney suburbs, especially through Hurstville and Sutherland where there's no separate track for freight trains. A weekday peak period curfew applies banning freights between 0600-1000 and 1500-1900 hours so that's a major operating constraint.
