It was as high as A$8.43 in early trade but by just after 1030 AEST, GNC was back to a still impressive 5.1 per cent rise (A$0.41) to A$8.03.
A long way short of A$8.50 though.
Sorry AJ7, I have immense difficulty perceiving that the SP will double from current levels. A$8.60 would be pleasing: anything above is a bonus.
Depending on capital requirements and buyback(s), we may also benefit from a small to medium sized dividend increase.
