Time will tell whether this is a masterstroke or not.
Any Magnetite project is on the nose at the moment due to the economic situation ( HIO,MGT ).
All need large amounts of money to progress the projects, and at the moment there is none available.
Until that happens opportunities come along to acquire an Asset very cheaply.
The 30% from SRT was more than likely be bought very cheaply as they want out.
When money is freely available the project go ahead.
Also Savage River cannot last forever, there needs to be something to replace it.
