I should have also stated in the previous post that the General Meeting for shareholder approval didn't occur until 12 February 16 so it was impossible for the transaction to finalise until approval had been granted.

Will all due respect to the supposedly more experienced posters (by number of posts if that is a guide) a matter of this importance should have been announced and should be price sensitive. I have been on the ASX website and reviewed all the company announcements from the announcement of 18/12/15 which is reproduced below.

The 20/1/16 Announcment states ".......the core exploration tenement application E45/4523 at its Lynas Project...................................has been granted. Dakota has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% rights to the Lynas Project, subject to completion of the transaction as announced 18th December 2015' (my emphasis added).

As you can see from the list, there are no price sensitive announcements following the Notification of the Results of the GM on 12/2/16.

I say again you cannot finalise a transaction until all the conditions precedent have been met,  for example the GM approving the transaction (which was a no brainer but still needed to be held).

Then to discover that the sale was reported as finalised in the UK must have been of interest to shareholders as, at this stage, there is no certainty that shareholders have acquired an interest.

In the interest of current shareholders with a holding at the time of any such announcement surely there might be an expectation of  share price would rise if the market was aware that the sale had in fact been completed and DKO was in fact the legal owner of the Lynas Find tenements and the purchase from Ariana had finalised! (Of course everybody could have sold on the news but isn't that the whole ideal of owning prior to an announcment)

I am not suggesting that the sale is not proceeding. Rather I am suggesting that, IMHO, when you look at the changes in holding that occurred in the last few days to amend the share capital (which occurred after the UK newspaper report - see my previous posts) then surely the price sensitive announcement that the sale has complete must still be coming.
