Maybe some geo's here may add some color to Chris' comment about Tasmania's Oregenic gold being connected under Bass straight to "the Melbourne Zone" (if I recall correctly from the interview).
Kirkland Lake (ASX:KLA) and Catalyst (ASX:CYL) are both active up in Bendigo. KLA producing out of it's high grade, low cost U/G mine in Fosterville, CYL achieving great intercepts drilling at Four Eagles.
Like I said, I could be way off but I haven't been very successful in uncovering much during research.
